The
Isle of Man has the oldest continuous Parliament in the
world called "Tynwald" and
was started by the Vikings in 979 AD. The Vikings flourished
on the Island and much of their history is still around
us today. Combine this with the magnificent coastal scenery
the warmth of the Manx people and the stunning setting of Peel and you get one of the best locations for Viking re enactments.
